🏡 A Legacy Born in the Kitchen

My story begins in Haines City, Florida, where I was raised in a home filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals. My mother—an extraordinary chef in her own right—taught me that food could nourish not just the body, but also the soul.

Some of my fondest memories are of our Sunday meals. We didn’t gather at a formal table—we curled up in the living room, plates in hand, laughing, sharing stories, and savoring every bite. Those gatherings taught me what food really meant: comfort, culture, and connection.

It wasn’t until my thirties that I truly recognized my passion for cooking. I began preparing meals for family reunions, church events, and charity fundraisers. The joy I felt watching people come together around my food was undeniable—that was the spark.
